`Sex’, ‘bondage’, Aussie cricketers make many a slip
Wellington, Feb 25 – ‘Sex, um, success’ and ‘footage of bondage…ahmm, Bondy’ — Australian cricketers started their tour of New Zealand with two verbal slips. They are here to play a series of Twenty20 international matches.
Coach Tim Nielsen on arrival Wednesday said: ‘we haven’t had a lot of sex, um, success over here.’
Thursday it was vice-captain Michael Clarke who got tongue-tied, New Zealand Herald reported.
When questioned about New Zealand paceman Shane Bond, Clarke said he featured high on their game plan. ‘We’ll have a good look at footage of bondage… ahmm, Bondy,’ said Clarke, amid chuckles.
”Geez I feel like the coach, what’s going on,’ Clarke continued with a grin.
