Marijuana worth $2 mn seized in Colombia
Bogota, Jan 23 (IANS) The Colombian police have confiscated 1.7 tonnes of marijuana with an estimated worth of 3.5 billion Colombian pesos (about $2 million) from a rural area in southwest Colombia, said a police report.
The seizure was made allegedly from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) guerrilla group, Xinhua reported.
The drug was stored between several bricks and covered with plastic, rubber and vaseline with coffee to cover the drug’s smell, said the report.
